A Day With Loving Littles

May 22, 2017

The thing that I love so very much about Day in the Life Sessions is that you have no idea where the day will take you! Most times with sessions there is a feeling that everything must be perfect. Clothing, location, children, but our lives are not perfect, they are chaotic and busy and messy! These are the authentic moments that will makes use smile when they are long past. There is so much beauty in chaos and in your life that is your very own story.

I met Keisha of Loving Littles Blog  and her lovely children in their home in Chilliwack BC. I have to admit that it was such a gorgeous city. My husband has been pushing hard for us to make the move from the busyness of the Lower Mainland to the Valley, I am not sold yet, but the locations there are definitely a bonus. Keisha's home was so warm and inviting, I could instantly feel the love and care that was put into each room. Her littlest babe was over due for a nap and that is how we spent most of our time together. She was stuck in that place between wanting so desperately to sleep but not wanting to miss out on the action. Little Miss E went to sleep a couple times but was quickly back up again to see what was going on. We had a lovely soccer match in Mama's room with Big Brother and a fun game of open and shut the bedroom door! Being invited into someones home and getting to witness the love that is shared is such an incredible honour for me.

We took a break from the activities and then met up again at Cultus Lake. It was such a perfect day and everyone was out enjoying the promise of summer. Walking along the water was a bunch of fun, especially when Miss E wanted to take a dive right off the dock! She was keen on swimming but we were able to bribe her with promises of the playground. This little girl was fearless much to her Mama's dismay. There was a brand new playground being built that wasn't quite finished yet and I am certain if Mama had allowed it little Miss would have had no qualms about scaling the fence right in, (which she did attempt) fearless! While Mama calmed the little one Big Brother showed me some cool jumps of a picnic table. We wrapped up the session with some sweet Mom and son cuddles and finally it was time for us to part and for Miss E to finally catch some much needed Z's.
